For insulated glass repair facilities and IG window manufacturers, HMT’s tank systems provide an economical alternative to traditional drum and pail unloaders. By allowing operators to load sealant directly into the melt tank, these systems eliminate the need for costly unloading equipment while maximizing material utilization. Unlike conventional drum and pail unloaders, which often leave 10–20% of the butyl sealant unused, HMT tank systems allow virtually all of the sealant to be used, reducing material waste, improving efficiency, and lowering the overall cost per insulated glass unit.
